I am back!

 The RETURN After a couple of months of no activity because of personal stuff, I am back again. I have been very busy these past months, then I had no energy to watch movies and even less to make a single small review... well you all know that it takes up neurons.  I will be watching more movies and posting daily content on Letterboxd and I will also be sharing some thoughts here. P.S. I'm very excited about Saw X , it will be released in a month, I can't wait for it.

True or false?

True Stories (1986)

Hello everyone, I am here to talk about this musical comedy that everyone seems to love.

A cowboy visits a fictional town of Texas, Virgil, where he sees everyone getting ready for the 150th anniversary of Texas' independence. 

It treats an original story, the main character is an interesting one, but the rest of the movie didn't motivate me anything. I didn't like the pacing, the songs... I was waiting for something which never happened, something shocking or whatever intense.

I found it too boring, but I have to say that I don't personally like musicals, so well, that's probably the reason.

True Stories wasn't a success back in its release, anyway, I see that over the years, it started gaining a lot of lovers and good reviews around the Internet.
